Announcements!

Hello beautiful Avalonians!

It's the longest night of the year and tomorrow morning (the 22nd December) at about 5:30 AM GMT the winter solstice will happen as the Earth does her slow, graceful journey towards the light half of the year.  Or at least in the Northern hemisphere.  Of course, it's summer solstice down under!

I've been sitting on lots of yummy newsy type things, a few which I've let out on Facebook, but haven't fully divulged about here.  So without further ado, here's what's going on!

Tomorrow!  The Tribe of Avalon is facilitating the Pagan Federation London Open Ritual for Yule tomorrow night, 22nd December 2011.  Full details of the time, place and cost is available on the PF London site at www.pflondon.org.  I've taken the lead in coordinating this ritual, and I'm hoping it will be wonderful for all who come.  If you can be there, do come along!

Seasonal Ceremonies
My brother Priest of Avalon, David Spofforth, and I are making a concerted effort to re-establish the Tribe of Avalon seasonal ceremonies.   If you like to plan ahead, the Tribe of Avalon Imbolc ceremony will be on the 7th February 2012 at 7 PM at Atlantis Bookshop, 49a Museum Street, London.  £5 donation to help cover room hire.

Tribe of Avalon's website is now officially up and running after many months of being under construction.  Check it out at www.tribeofavalon.co.uk and see what lovely goodies are there and keep up with the news!

2012 Workshops
David and I are also hosting a series of four workshops next year exploring the Goddess energies of London.  Details are up on the Tribe of Avalon website and also listed in my Events section, but for posterity, the dates are:-

3 March 2012 - The Wheel of Ana
12 April 2012 - Exploring Britannia
2 June 2012 - Goddess in London
14 July - The Many Faces of Goddess

The Thamesis Hour
David and I are also joining forces to host a new radio show, The Thamesis Hour - News and Events Winding Through London.  This show will air on the new Internet radio station, Pagan Radio.co.uk and will focus on Goddess in London.  The show will feature interviews, music and guided meditations.  We're both very excited about this new venture and look forward to recording our first show next month!  Pagan Radio will go live from the 2nd of February, so do check their website for details on that and what other goodies they will have on air.  In the meantime, The Thamesis Hour has a page on Facebook where you can keep up with what's forthcoming with the show, so do give us a like!  The Thamesis Hour Facebook page.

Do you think I'm a bit busy?  It's all good and I'm not done!  Hopefully at the first of the year I'll have some more juicy bits to offer, but for now, I'm excited with what's been planned so far and I'm so looking forward to it all!

In the meantime, I wish you all a beautiful Winter Solstice season in whatever way that you're celebrating or honouring this time.  May the deep peace of the season be yours.

Bendithion o Afallon!
