I've had some good excuses though. The first being that the first day of the project, I was going away on a "second" honeymoon. As mentioned in my previous post, it was my anniversary with my husband, so we went away to the magical Isle of Wight for a long weekend where we got to see some stunning coastal scenery, meet with friends and walk the land to include visiting the Isle's neolithic Longstone. What a magical place that is, and so filled with the spirits of the ancestors there! Loved it and I'm collaborating on future plans for a series of pilgrimage walks on the Isle. So watch this space for more info on that! Anyway, I had planned to have my first post already written and scheduled to post on the day, but that just didn't happen.

When I got home, my cold came back. It's the same weird virus that has been plaguing me since before Solstice, only this time it's come back with a vengeance and is showing no signs of leaving any time soon.
Despite the cold, I had business to take care of during the week. My brother Priest of Avalon, David Spofforth and I recorded our first Thamesis Hour show to include a wonderful interview with a fabulous priestess in London. I'm very excited about the show and as soon as I know when it will be broadcast, I will be posting about it!!
During those moments of downtime, I've been resting, dreaming up 2012 and catching up with the world. So unfortunately, blogging for the project fell by the wayside.
But now, here I am! A new week! Nothing major in the diary and the blessing of further dreamy cave time, which is just what I'm needing right now.
And I was going to make my first Pagan Blog Project post in this post, but I've whittered on quite a bit, so I'm going to make a separate post for my first entry into PagBloPro. It deserves a post of its own. So, next!

Greet Thee!
ReplyDeleteFantastic pics of your megaliths. And the Isle of Wight is on my "bucket list". Hope to hear a bit more about your side trips and your discovers. And I can say I have been to an isle and the place was called Avalon. Sadly it bore absolutely no resemblance to the legends of Avalon; it was the main town on the Isle of Catalina off the coast of California. ;P
I'm glad I discovered your blog. I am looking forward to learning more about the Order of Glastonbury.
Lovely to meet you, Celeste! I hope you get to Isle of Wight at some point. It really is beautiful there!
DeleteI've followed all your blogs as I love reading about the ancient German sites. That's ancestral country for me!
