Heart's Wish

I took a week off the last week or so, mainly to give my blog followers a break as it seemed Wishcasting Wednesday was making up the majority of my posts.  It all began to feel as though I had nothing else to talk about but my wishes!  I suppose that's not so bad really.  It depends on what I'm wishing for! 

Today we are asked:-

What is your heart's wish?

There have been times I followed my heart's wish and got chastised for it because it meant not always making the sensible choice.  Sometimes following my heart led me to hard lessons which made it seem that following my heart was a mistake.  In hindsight, I appreciate that those lessons were important and following my heart took me exactly where I needed to go.

Other times, following my heart has led me to great happiness and I must admit, leaving me feeling a bit smug towards those who doubted me (I try not to be, but, hey, I'm human).  

A few years ago, I put my heart in the driver's seat and left my job.  It's been a tough road since, but I have absolutely no regrets about it.  My heart is still in the driver's seat and continues to lead me down an unfolding path of beauty.  

So my heart's wish is that I, and everyone else in the world, be able to follow their heart wherever it may lead and live the life of their dreams.  How different the world might be if we all did this!
